Genuine supplements, and the advice to go with them

GIG Health & Nutrition is an Accra-based supplier of internationally sourced health and nutrition supplements — built for people who are tired of wondering whether what they bought is real.

Our story

Why we started

GIG Health & Nutrition began with a problem that anyone who has shopped for supplements in Ghana will recognise. You hear about a product, you find someone selling it, and then you spend the next two weeks quietly wondering whether what arrived is genuine — whether the seal was original, whether the expiry date was printed or stuck on, whether it sat in a hot storeroom for a year.

That doubt is corrosive. It stops people from taking care of their health, and it punishes the honest suppliers along with the dishonest ones.

So we built the business around removing it. We buy through verified import channels only. Everything arrives sealed and stays sealed. Batch codes and expiry dates are checked when stock lands and again before it goes out. And when a customer asks us to verify a batch code on something they bought somewhere else, we help — because a market where people can trust what they buy is better for everybody in it.

The second half of the business is the part we care about most: the conversation. Most people arrive knowing a goal, not an ingredient. “I am not sleeping.” “We have been trying for a baby.” “My stomach is never settled.” Our job is to translate that into an honest recommendation — and sometimes into “this is not something a supplement will fix; please see a doctor.”

Today we serve customers in every region of Ghana, mostly over WhatsApp, because that is where our customers already are.

Mission

To make genuine, well-chosen nutrition accessible everywhere in Ghana — with the honesty that lets people trust it.

That means verified stock, plain explanations, fair prices and the willingness to say “not this one” when that is the right answer.

Vision

A Ghana where nobody has to wonder whether the supplement in their hand is real.

We want GIG to be the name people give a friend when they say “buy from them, they will tell you the truth.”

Core values

Four things we do not compromise on

Authenticity above all

Sealed stock, intact batch codes, readable expiry dates. If we cannot verify where a bottle came from, we do not sell it — no matter how good the margin looks.

Honesty over the sale

A supplement supports wellness; it does not cure illness. We say that plainly, and we will tell you when a product is not the right fit even if it costs us the order.

Care in the details

How stock is stored, how quickly a message is answered, whether the expiry date is generous. The small things are what separate a real supplier from a reseller.

Access for everyone

Quality nutrition should not be an Accra-only privilege. We deliver to every region in Ghana, and we quote plainly so there are no surprises.

Quality commitment

How we protect what reaches you

Supplements are only as good as the chain that carries them. Here is exactly what ours looks like.

  • Sourced only through verified import channels — never grey-market or open-market stock
  • Every item arrives factory-sealed and is sold sealed; we never decant or repack
  • Batch code and expiry date checked on arrival and again before dispatch
  • Stored cool, dry and out of direct sunlight, which matters in this climate
  • Short-dated stock is flagged to you before you buy, never quietly cleared
  • Supplement facts on this website are transcribed from the physical label

An honest note on what supplements are. These products are nutritional supplements intended to support general wellness and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. We are a supplier, not a clinic. If you are unwell, pregnant, nursing, or taking prescribed medication, please talk to a doctor or pharmacist before adding anything new — and we will happily wait while you do.
